King's Group Academies

in pursuit of excellence

Welcome to

King's Academy Prospect

I love being the headteacher of this school. Not only does the progress we have made over recent years fill me with enormous pride, but I also know that this is a school where staff and students work exceptionally well together. We are a school that is going places!

We offer a tailored education, to allow every student to achieve their very best in life.

We want the best possible outcome for every individual and we aim to open up new worlds of opportunity, and create new pathways to their aspirations. Opportunities and Success on a Global Stage.

Here’s how:

Firstly, our exam results. Last year, at GCSE, 60% of students achieved Grade 4+ in English and 62% achieved this threshold in Maths. The best ever results for King's Academy Prospect. We are, of course, a proudly inclusive school, which caters for a full range of attainment: 98% of our students achieved 5 grades 1-9 and 100% achieved one grade 1-9. These percentages represent a significant achievement for our students and their teachers.

At A Level, 20% of all grades were A*-B which is very pleasing. These grades, which were achieved in a full range of subjects, have enabled our students to pursue their future aspirations fully, whether that is at university or in the world of work. One of our students accepted her place at Oxford University.

Secondly, our Ofsted report. In October 2022, we were "Good" with "Outstanding" for Leadership and Management, with a particular highlights being:

"Pupils are aspirational and rightly optimistic about their futures. Leaders set high expectations for pupils’ learning, behaviour and wider development, which are routinely put into practice."

and

"Leaders’ highly effective work means this is a good and strongly improving school. Leaders are focused fully on making sure that all pupils achieve their best. They design and put in place strong processes that underpin the school’s success."

We believe that an “Outstanding” rating is within our grasp and are working hard to improve even further.

Thirdly, our extracurricular offer. We believe in educating the whole person, which is why we strive to create the very best extracurricular opportunities for our students.

Finally, the future.  We believe that in order to thrive, we need to keep innovating and moving forward.

Come and join us!
